They are sweet. They took us in on short notice, and didn't require a credit card to hold the room while we made made our jet lagged way from the airport. They let us assemble our bicycles in their entry way, took care of the boxes for us, and safely stored our bikes. The small room was nice, and very clean. They helped us find places around the city (Basillica for our pilgrims credentials), and their suggestions on where to eat (Time Out Market, etc.) were helpful. They helped us find another place the next night when they were full.
If you help a pilgrim you are an angel. They certainly were.

I stayed two days in a single room and 3 days in a dorm.
I arrived really really early in the Morning but there was no Problem with an earlier check in. The kept my Stuff in a locked Room and I was welcomed to take something of the free breakfast. You also welcomed to use the Kitchen - i thing this is an good option to come together with other travelers and to safe your budget. The Atmosphere in the living room was perfect and amazing, i felt i am at home. I like especially the idea that the receptionist is next to the living room. I can remember that i had to waste some time to waiting for my late flight and Fredercio was so lovely with me. He helped me any time and he made me feel welcomed and at home =).
I defiantly would recommend this hostel, mainly because it's very good located and the stuff is sooooo friendly ( especially Frederico)

Perfect for when you're travelling on a budget. I stayed here with 6 friends for two nights in a 8-bed-dormitory. The hostel is located very close to a subway station, but most highlights of Lisbon are within walking distance. The staff is extremely friendly and literally 24/7 ready to help with everything. Everything looks modern and clean. The WiFi works perfect and there's a computer to use as well. There's even an entire kitchen at guests disposal. The bathrooms aren't big, but we didn't have to share them with others at the times we used them, so that wasn't a problem. The showers are amazing!! Breakfast was good as well, way better than expected. Oh, and we only payed €18/night!
