As a Lisbon born European I would choose this place to live over any other. Why? The garden sits over a stone built subterranean water reservoir, over it there is 2 charming kiosks shadowed by old gigantic trees, one in particular spreads only 2 meters hight but lays over a metallic structure that holds its 5 meter tired radios of branches, if you don't find the benches nested under it comfy enough then climb on to it with a couple of friends it's surprisingly comfortable (Just please don't smile there, because the mis of trash and fire almost killed it). Around it there is everything you might need if you are trendy or simply like quality, you'll find: 3 thematic concept stores in amazing palaces, amazing restaurants, Cinco the cocktail bar just 5 steps away, Bairro Alto 5m away, Chiado 10m away, Av. da Liberdade 10m. Overall it's beautiful and that is something one must witness to fully comprehend, partly because of the architecture and in part because of the gentle light from the sunset laying over the few who enjoy a drink on the classy kiosks.

A favorite spot in Lisbon. Make sure to see the remarkably big-corona tree.

A lot of energy. A perfect place to be with friends, read a book, practice yoga or just pass though it and see one of the small market that take place there!

Great garden right in the heart of Lisbon. Every Saturday there's a market with a great variety of products.

Small but perfectly formed, with a cypress tree dominating the centre. Has a cafe on site with friendly staff. There is a farmers market every Saturday offering local produce as well as other stalls offering a variety of goods. Its not one the cleanest parks in Lisbon but offers a good view of Lisbon a couple of hundred metres down the hill towards the funicular.
