Had a wonderful meal here with my parents - the decor is a little dated but the food was excellent!

Sad. Simply sad. A touristic place. I was told it would be the best cod I would ever eat. NOT EVEN CLOSE!
The worst price/quality I had in 13 days travelling around Portugal. The cod wasn't soft. It was not very tasty. And it was difficult to chew, like a gum.
It was not awful, because Portugal is a fantastic place to eat and cod is delicious, but you may have the same quality for much less. MUCH LESS!
Paying the same amount, you may have much better food.
The service was very nice, which is unfortunately usual many times when you go to a touristic place that wants to fool tourists.
A suggestion: A casa do Bacalhau. Perfect place.
I'm still sad. And relying on the people Who told me to go to Laurentina, maybe it was a bad Day. I will not try again to discover.

This place is not worth it. In my case, cod was way too salty. Making cod not salty is 101 of cooking cod so how can you call yourself the king of cod if you can't do the basics. On top of it, service was unprofessional. They were nice but forgot about our plates twice making us wait very long times. Even though they knew our dissatisfaction, the bill was charged in full and no compensation was offered, such as some liquor or coffee or dessert. I don't recommended to come here but if you do, you'll get ok food for a very expensive price.
