We chose this place for its setting in a lovely courtyard and it was worth the wait. They even gave us some free tasty potato skins while we waited for a table. We chose a few appetizers as tapas. Great portions and the octopus salad was a definite highlight along with the aubergine. Highly recommend!

Highly Recommend Restaurant in Alfama!
If you're having a good time getting lost within the streets of Alfama, this is a delight and gem to be found!
Delicious food (the fish and pasta are amazing). Decor is truly cozy as well its got a million black & white photos of celebrities and overall gives off a slight jazz / funk vibe to the atmosphere.

Fish was amazing! Waitress kept forgetting things but she seemed new so no worries. Worth going to. :)

A bit more pricey then expected, however the attention to detail and the proportion sizes make it a bit easier to bare. The octopus salad was not only generous in size but so fresh and had a wonderful modern take. Thoroughly enjoyed the crunchy carrot/vinegar element. Still talking about it to this day. If want to have a more modern experience when in the area i would totally recomend.

5 stars for what it is; a homey eatery with excellently cooked, well made dishes that are generously proportioned. There is also a great ambience about the place; eating outside in the summer was truly relaxing. Definitely worth coming here after Castello S. Jorge, which is a short walk away.
