Sixt nunca mais! As viaturas têm inúmeros riscos e é difícil descobri-los todos. Quando recebem o carro de volta demoram uma eternidade até descobrir um novo risco, olhando até debaixo da viatura. Insistem num seguro caro e quem não aceitar é melhor fotografar o carro em volta à saída, pelo menos.

Such a bad telephone system. Twice I pressed buttons for reservations and was simply cut off. You are not allowed to ring direct to Funchal but to a call centre in Oporto. Shan't waste my time again.

Simple to book, I wanted a cheap car, but attendant advised me against this, and yes she was right, the roads are steep, you need the mid range 1.5, anything less and with a family of four it will struggle.
Car was clean, nice and ready to go. I opted to pay for fuel I use rather than a full tank. I travelled total 300km in 3 days, and cost me 20 euros of diesel, there are other places, but I prefer safety and a well maintained car, which is why I choose sixt.

Long wait for car, only one computer, wrong car, twice. Very clean and tidy with coffee for the long waiting periods necessary there.
