Great francesinhas in Oporto downtown. If you want to have a bit of the flavour but are looking for a less heavy meal, you can order half. It is usually very busy so you should try to arrive early. It is walking distance to the historic city center.

Overall, we all like it. The vegetation and meat francesinha were really nice! (though it was our first time trying them)
Nods and smiles to the food all round in our group of three. Good music (guitar, easy listenning, and classicals) and pleasant atmosphere (though we came around 5pm).
Though the restaurant is a little dark and hidden from the sun, which might be a good thing to some people (mixed reactions in this group).

Good installations, clean, good staff, the regular francesinha was very good. You will probably have to wait outside for a table for +-30min but it was worth it. Recommend

Good Vegetarian Francesinha, my usual choice here. My friends tell me the other francesinhas are good as well. There's also a good selection of beers and desserts. The price is competitive and the service competent.
