Very straightforward, I got a free voucher with the cableway ticket. When you don't have any idea of Porto wine, it is hard to decide which cellar to visit. Nice space, no hassle, quiet.

This is primarily the place where free port tastings are given to those cable car customers who have retained the vouchers given to them when they bought their cable car tickets. The port is good, the lodge is large and spread over two floors with lots of space and seating. There are toilets on the ground floor along with a display of casks and barrels. More port can be purchased by the glass should you enjoy your free sample. There is no hard sell here which is refreshing for a tourist site.

It is actually very much worth visiting, even more so if you're with a larger group of friends.
The wine isn't amazing, but it's a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Also perfect to share a bottle.
Food is not worth it.
Try and grab the chairs by the windows, they often have live Fado music!
