We booked this hotel based on the reviews that said that it was about a 20 minute walk to the center of town. While this is true, the walk is extremely lonely and unsafe, both day and night. I would certainly not recommend this hotel for someone looking to walk around Porto and have easy access to the center or anything remotely interesting in the city. Even though we did rent a car, it is still an inconvenient hotel.
The hotel itself is a good value for the money. The rooms are quite large and clean, and the AC functions very well. The beds are firm and comfortable. The tv also has many channels to choose from, including some in English. The Wi-Fi also works very well.

Excellent value for money, good rooms, nice bar and friendly staff. 10 minutes from the city centre in a quiet street. Recommend.

Nice and friendly hotel, close to the town center. Worth visiting when on city break in Porto.
