*Food*: served in minutes and a little bit salty
*Atmosphere*: traditional motives, the place is divided in 2 spaces, one has bright cool white light the other warm dimmed light. The wooden floor is noisy and you could feel the ppl moving all around.
*Prices*: acceptable to high
*Personnel*: nice, a little in a hurry
*Location*: in a roundabout at the edge of the old city... absolutely no free parking space nearby.

Nice atmosphere and very traditional decoration. The food is filling and I would really recommend the dessert ‘papanasi’ (sweet dumplings). Despite the service was friendly, they asked three times for tips, which it made the experience a bit awkward at the end

Good: ambiance in the back / brick cellar part of the restaurant. Service was attentive. They have fried brains on the menu. Whole trout was smoky & tasty.
Needs improvement: uncomfortably bright in the front section of the restaurant. grilled pork chop was dry & had no flavor. Mamaliga was rubbery with no flavor. Goulash was tepid at best and only had 3 dumplings.
Price was too high for the quality / flavor of the food. Seems like you're paying for ambiance, location and touristic experience here. There are better places to get truly flavorful and reasonably priced Romanian food.

Great service! Comfortable place to have some traditional fare but without feeling like you're in a tourist trap. Great food. Although you are in a basement, it's well lit and feels cozy. I'd definitely go again.

Some very nice Romanian food. I had the stuffed cabbage rolls and my friend has the pork steak which looked nice too. The huge plum dumplings we had for desert were a bit heavy so suggest a lighter choice. The service was good and could be very good if it included a smile or too. In the ladies room the combination faucet and hand dryer are cool and should be visited. The rooms were like a brick wine cellar and nice and cool on a hot summer day. Good choice for a mid priced restaurant. Menu options were 23-48 lei.
