Fantastic meal, hidden gem in the most expensive part of town! Cozy but spacious place, beautiful artwork and food to match! We just had lunch at this place, family with 2 boys 15 and 11, very picky eaters. We ordered cold beer soup, bean soup with sausage, lamb manti, both beef and lamb samsa, salad, grilled pork, rosemary potatoes, fruit punch ( kompot), Turkish coffee and 2 cakes - soufflé and esterhasi. There is not a single drop of food left at our plate. Manti were succulent and juicy, samsa flaky and light with good quality meat . Cold beer soup had a nice tart flavor, vegetables were crunchy, and varied. Pork portion was very hefty, grilled to perfection, with healthy new potatoes first boiled and then browned with butter and herbs. Crowning moment was both cakes. Hazelnut macaroon layers and butter caramel frosting on estherhasi cake was very filling and complex. Berry soufflé was light, tart and complimented Turkish coffee. Wonderful friendly waitress, worked out with our varied tastes, allergies. One of the best meals we had in Moscow. Very very reasonably priced.
