Have not seen a museum like this - so modern! You can download an app (can do it in the lobby using museum's wifi) and it will guide you through the exhibit. Some paintings have plaster stands with painting's objects that blind visitors can touch and imagine composition and listen to audio guide about the painting and artist.
Amazing interactive displays demonstrating theory of color, explaining tools painters use, etc.
The floors are spacious so the paintings do not compete for viewer's attention.

This is an impressive museum architecturally inside and out. It has an outstanding collection of art. I throughly enjoyed my visit. Bonus points for the fact that some paintings have 3D models and accompanying Braille descriptions beneath the work so blind people can appreciate them as well.

Compact museum in a modern building with a small permanent exposition of the Russian impressionists, good enough selection of paintings. There are also some entertaining interactive installations and a shop of souvenirs on the main floor. Upstairs you can find thematical visiting expositions and a cozy cafe with entrance to the roof. We had a good overall impression from the visit.

I'm so exited that we've got such place in Moscow! It was build as a museum with all that necessary architectural and infrastructural details that modern museum musts have. You feel like right in the 21th century here. The #rusimp has very interesting collection and besides that they has great plan of exibitions. Bonuses: children under 18 free and the best lavander raf in the Nook caffe at the 3d floore. I love Rusimp for they know how to be educational and entertaining at the same time.
