Very nice but small museum with more alternative art than other places in Moscow. The cafe is quite good, and the menu is huge (and apparently themed to the current exhibition).

I love Garage! They have most immersive exhibitions in Moscow. They make better versions of the exhibitions I have seen in other countries. Oh, I almost forgot about their free lectures and cinema!
It has everything I need: art, great atmosphere, interesting and friendly people, lots of space and a cat! I should also mention delicious food and coffee.

Well small museum space.
But the light is awful!
Always a lot of glares from soffit spotlight and uneven illumination. Stupid rules, staff always stopes and say what not to do, where not to go..it absolutely kills enjoying the exhibition.
Even Goya exhibition was perceived as boring.

Amazing place, really worth a visit! Would definitely go back next time I'm in Moscow. The staff are great as well- I lost a ring there and the security guy found it and returned it!

Garage Museum located in the centre of Gorky Park. Very easy to find this place and if you find any difficulties, google translate will help you a lot to speak with locals. This place is great with many free facilities, such as toilet and free wifi. The building looks relatively new and well managed.
