Love is not always associated with something looking good or smelling good or tasting good. This is exactly the place which wouldn't be treated by a lot of people as a very nice one probably - 19th century building with no renovation for a period of time. But it still as of 2015 introduces visitor to this later Soviet period atmosphere (1960-1980) of people called "sixtiers" when freedom was a bit more allowed, than before with all those smaller groups of people doing something interesting not controlled by government called sections (workshops). This place hosts different kinds of sections: dance (folk, argentine tango, lindy hop, etc.), handcrafting, etc. Most of them are quite friendly and allow visitors to participate in one meeting for free, though sometimes it's just not possible if they're doing something more advanced or it's a group for children. Then you're most likely will be welcomed to stay and have a look. You just come and ask. Free restroom (1st floor, to the left immediately after the entrance), free snacks (biscuits or similar) and tea for participants. Open usually during non business hours - people attend after the work or on the weekends, though schedule is not strict, you could take your chance, anyway the area around is nice and there're a lot of other lovely places around.
