I'm struggling to understand why this place has such great reviews. The interior is fairly dull and the beer selection quite limited. The service is also very slow with, for example, side orders coming 15 mins after we'd finished our main course. Even then, the sides weren't properly cooked. It's certainly not somewhere I would recommend or visit again.

Visiting over the late summer we found the pub to be homely and inviting with good food and great beer selection
