Can be a bit crowded but not because it is that good, but because locals use it as an office and business meeting place. You can often see a lot of tables busy by people loudly talking "business" with a single cup of tea for all of em. Service depends - not stable.
Food is so so. Coffee is failure - sour and bitter. In overall overpriced and not tasty.

Most expensive breakfast/coffee I had in Russia, overpriced, average food, slow service and waiter was trying his best to push us to buy more. Save you time and $$$ and go elsewhere.

Like the name implies, it's a place where you go and find joy. Happy music, great atmosphere and tasty food. Because of its location, it's a place frequented by foreigners.

The place is awesome inside, and they'll give you blankets if you want to eat outside. The food was awesome, especially their cheese buns and their salmon. The staff was also very friendly, and did a good job at catering for us in English. They also accept credit cards (which is not always the case in SPB)
