very nice resort , enjoyed my stay ; i might have been lucky that i cam when the weather was amazing - great service and product

Don't even try eating here. It's not worth the stress let alone the insane prices. I stopped in between two business meetings and should have known by the difficulty of finding a waiter that it would be a terrible experience. They sell the pizzas for ten riyals less than the insanely overpriced sandwiches so I ordered that. Took 40 minutes to get what looked like a microwave pizza. The vegetables are fresh but somehow they manage to produce this monstrosity. Avoid at all costs.

This was one of the worst hotel stays in over 30 years of travel. Unfortunately it is the only hotel in its area.
When there's a horrendous manager, there's always a terrifyingly horrible customer service since managing a hotel begins from its management.
As for lighting, sadly, "cheap massage motels" (if you know what I mean) have MUCH better lighting. I think your picture is painted now.
The star is strictly for the sea view and luggage boy.
