I have to say that those 5 stars for ranking are mostly for the staff members working in this restaurant. Don't take me wrong, food and drinks are nice but portion wise not always reasonable. But dishes are very tasty.
Very friendly and helpful service. I've never been disappointed by level of the service provided.
When guests from abroad are visiting me I am always bringing them here. Very unique interior.

Very unique place set in an old cinema. Timber all around. (Don't even think about a fire). Very local and traditional food and very well priced. Lots of tourists which proves it's not all about the old town. I got serviced fast but I did speak up as I had read comments about slow service. Good experience

Staff from the hostel recommended this restaurant to us. The building of the restaurant looked quite nice. The menu seemed good too. But the staff/service in the restaurant was terrible. We have 5 people in the group and have been waiting over 20 minutes without getting any service, not even cleaning the table. We tried to get the attention of the staff many times and the lady was so rude and kept ignoring us and serving other tables who got there later than us for no reason. We left the restaurant with deep disappointment and will definitely not recommend any other friends to there.

Sincerely, I wanted to have lunch there everyday! Just didn't do it to give the chance to know other restaurants. I usually travel low budget, but food is something that worth to pay more money for (hahahahaha). Nonetheless this restaurant combines good price with good food! The portions are big and me and my husband could share our plates and were very satisfied by the end. The menu is rich and a lot of options are offered, I recommend trying the local food :) the beer is very good as well.
In the first time we went there, we sat outside. On the second time I was sad because there was no tables available so we had to go inside. Which was great, because the restaurant is indeed really big and you should know inside as well.
P.S: I tried the same dishes on city center restaurants and I was very disappointed, specially after trying it on flag ship. I'm not discouraging you to eat in the center... But the price will be more expensive and the quality not better than in this restaurant.

The food and the building were nice but the service was really poor. Even though we were a big group and consumed a lot, few was done to keep us motivated to remain there. Such a beautiful building deserves a more fitting restaurant environment and music. A smile also doesn't cost any money. There are much better places in Bratislava! I suppose management has the fault, they should keep employees happy or improve HR.
