The appetizers were absolutely amazing (I would come back just for that). The soups and main courses were just okay. Desserts all tasted like pure sugar. Service was lacking (for example, no one offered us water for a long time after we have finished our bottle, in the end we had to ask for it ourselves).

Vila Podvin was our choice for family celebration and has proved as an excellent decision. Our gathering was held at a peaceful garden under the trees next to the restaurant. The crew was super kind and adaptive to our wishes when to serve food regarding the timeline of the celebration. Every course was explained so we could even know what kind of ingredients are part of it. Probably the best thing about their food is the symphony of taste, every little bit of the courses has its meaning and contributes its part to whole deliciousness. We also slept over in their nice rooms and the breakfast was totally in the line with the whole evening experience - excellent.

Very nice food, service, great garden extremely friendly staff. The room was quite comfortable and clean. Calm neighborhood and fresh air. Everyone spoke great English.
Some negative things to mention: it was a bit pricey and the room is a bit dark. Without a car things are a bit far.
