We wanted to have lunch in the city center and went by the riverside cafes/restaurants but we decided to settle for this lovely place instead. And we didn't regret it.
We ordered the Friday lunch and the food was delicious. Fresh ingredients for homemade preparations: roasted tomatoes soup, salmon with sesame crust, and fig tart (see pictures attached). Amazing. For only 9€ per person. We were also seduced by the homemade ice tea.
The service was excellent. The owner himself served us our food, spoke perfect English, and was very friendly.
The restaurant is located in a cute alley, typical of the historic center. I would highly recommend to stop there as it will make you enjoy Ljubljana even more.

The food was fantastic - really wholesome and delicious! The atmosphere was good and the prices were very reasonable. Something a bit different to the riverside cafes.

Excellent food. Go for Friday set menu which is both delicious and great value. Owner very friendly and interesting to chat to.
