Interesting place. Some of the staff are very helpful and some are well, grumpy. The place is very old school especially the food. That said, it's probably one of the better German meals I've had in Cape Town. Well done.

We wanted to see the Bayern game and thought the German club might just be the place to do so.
The screen is nice and big but German beer was not available. The alternative that has been served was flat beer, which we returned.
The food was okay but took to long .
It was smoky and hot inside and to top it of they added one beer to many to our bill and wr were told (after we ate) that they accept cash only .
I hope they just had a bad day, but I won't take people there again any time soon .

We had a company event there to use their 'bowling alley' and have food supplied. The alley has had zero maintenance for about 10 years and the balls are chipped and dangerous, do not go there for the bowling alley. The food was basically deep fried from the freezer and not great at all.
