Not sure about hospital but clinic stuff is unprofessional, lack of communication is normal practice for them. I called to make an appointment for radiological report and consultation with doctor and they told me I must make appointment only for consultation and for radiological report I can come anytime without making appointment. I arrived and they told that they don't do radiological reports anymore. Honestly?????

I was not afforded the opportunity to renew my script within the recommended 6 month period, and told to book a consultation, although I am well aware of them renewing scripts telephonically for other patients as long as they have seen their doctor within 6 months (which I have). They got back to me a week after I called and at first didn't even have a record of my visit to them earlier this year. I have been on the same medication for 2 years and they have NEVER tested me or asked for blood samples for this - When I complained about having to consistently pay consultation fees every 5 months, I was told of the telephonic option which is far cheaper. It is now 5 and a half months down the line and this option has been taken away from me for no other reason but apparent unethical discrimination. Incredibly disappointed by this service and their lies over the phone and horrible administration skills (how do you forget to record a patients visit?). I now have to go to a new practice and fork out R500 for a consultation I did not budget for, as I was told in 5 months to renew my script over the phone for R110. It is easy to manage a patients care when they have all the money to spend on consultation visits for a script, but as soon as you don't have that R500 for a visit (where all they do is write your note), their care of their patient boils down to zero.

Tried using their GP's twice.. One Dr was against prescribing antibiotics for basic tonsillitis (first time I have experienced this in a lifetime of having the condition) as it went against his personal believes.. another misdiagnosed (and kept changing their story) ended up referring me elsewhere in the end. You can also never contact the doctors., even if they asked to be phoned for a follow up.. you end up dealing with just hoards of receptionists. It's a convenient facility to make money in a thought to be wealthy area - nothing more. I won't be back.
