it was the most expensive meal we had among many much better ones. the price doesn't reflect the food quality or presentation, more the amount of waiters. there were double of them to the customers. bread of the cheapest quality. just ok.

Food and Service was excellent! Situated at the second floor on the Campsbay promenade over looking the bay makes for a great view and atmosphere. The wait staff was in top form super friendly and accommodating. The only down side is that it is rather expensive but at least you get what you paid for. Our starters, mains and desert was really some of the best I have ever had. I have been to the Blue 4 times with overseas guests and every time was a pure pleasure. I highly recommend this restaurant if you have something special to celebrate, impress overseas guests with a great restaurant or if you have money to spare. Worth every cent!

This is a pricey restaurant, but the food is generally very good. However, the sticky toffee pudding we ordered was not up to standard (chewy, tough, etc.). Fortunately, they did not charge us for this. The waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. Additionally, there is a great view of the beach and sunset.
