Wonderful atmosphere and even better food. Will go back every time I'm in Cape Town.

What a disaster! Will never go back there. Not sure where to start? Despite having booked a table for 2, arrived and got shown to a table for 4 that was perfectly positioned. After making ourselves comfortable. at the table - another waitress arrived and told us to move to a table in the doorway - which we flatly refused to do. The waitress that took our order never ever returned to our table until right at the end when we were paying the bill. I was told by another waiter 30 minutes after ordering my main, that there were no more lamb chops!! What did I want to replace it with? When the replacement sirloin eventually arrived, the waitress proudly announced “here’s my tuna dish” When I queried that, she rushed back to the kitchen with the dish to find out what it was. No topping up of the wine, no topping up of the sparkling water - we had to make do with whichever waitron we managed to catch passing our table. All in all a disastrous evening never to be repeated. Be warned!

Such a lovely little restaurant. Very unassuming from the outside but by far the best seafood I have had in Cape Town. Amazing pasta too. What a find - it is a gem of a restaurant.

Almost ate here.....
After hearing that this bistro offered delicious seafood dishes I invited a friend to join me for an early dinner on 9 October 2017.
Upon arriving 15 minutes early and finding the door open, we entered to enquire if we could wait inside (it was incredibly windy outside). A barman shouted rudely that they only opened at 6.30pm and the equally unpleasant manager tried very hard to ignore us. After practically begging for a seat and confirming that we had booked, the manager waved his hand dismissively and told us to sit anywhere. At no time was eye contact made and no drinks were offered.
When the owner/chef arrived we tried to tell him about his unprofessional front of house staff. He seemed confused and then began shouting loudly ..... we decided to go somewhere else.
No food is worth this horrible atmosphere.

Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere and very welcoming hosts. We started with the tapas which were amazing and I had the seafood spaghetti for my mains which was phenomenal. Oh, do yourself a favour and order the tiramisu for dessert. Will definitely become a regular here!
