Guy arrived quicker than I expected, got me home asap and was a great person to have a conversation with even though I was drunk haha. 5/5, keep it up!

Let's say I used Intercab Taxi 20 times in my life. Out of that 20 times I promise you they have probably been late half of the times! It's not like I order my taxi on short notice, every time I give them at least 1 hour - 3 hours notice!
This morning at 7:30 I ordered a taxi for 8:45 as I start work @ 9 (I stay like 4km away from my work). 08:50 no taxi. I call them and they said my taxi would be there in 2 minutes. 09:10 which is 20 minutes later (not 2) still NO TAXI! So I downloaded Uber in less than a minute, ordered an Uber in 10 seconds and 2 minutes after my Uber arrives at my door leaving me to cancel my taxi (who then just arrived as I walked out my building to my Uber meaning they were almost 30 minutes late! and off course they didn't let me know, I HAD TO FOLLOW UP THE WHOLE TIME!)
I always supported Intercab taxi's as I know Uber is taking over and I don't like seeing companies closing down. But after this incident (once again!) I just realized it's not necessarily that Uber is just taking over because of the cost (Intercab cost the same as Uber though), but rather because Uber is on time and can get to your house in 2 minutes when you order one now. When you order an Intercab an hour and 15 minutes prior to pickup time and they are 30 minutes late, then they wonder why people are rather making use of an Uber.
Don't get me wrong, every time I've used Intercab their drivers are SO sweet and very kind, but I'd rather rely on Uber in the future. #veryunimpressed
