Just missed my trip to Robben Island (320 Rands) 'cause they never showed up. I called them timely to make sure they were on the way, and they said they were. Still waiting...

A total disaster. We were in contact from Aug. 2014 until Jan. 2015 and guaranteed a representative would be waiting for us at arrivals. After a long flight and arriving near midnight, no one was there. Fortunately a young police officer loaned me a cell phone and called Rikki's number. I was told a person would be there shortly. We could not find anyone and fortunately the same officer sorted the problem. Sport transportation took us to our apartment. On our day of departure the apartment management called to confirm our booking.
Rikkis had no record. Apparently that is their norm, so we booked with Unicab at a cheaper price and had a superb ride to the airport. Buyer beware!!!

Best way to get around Cape Town, driver was nice and got us to our destination safe.

I will not be using Rikkis Taxis again.
I arranged for a to collect us in Adderley street at 1pm to take us to the V&A Waterfront.
The taxi's arrived, but then the driver did not know where we were going or how to get there.
I had to direct him.. I don't know what he would have done if we were foreigners..
The head office should keep their drivers better informed.

6 of us used one of your taxi's last Friday from Hout Bay to Town (the pick up was at 5.30pm). The driver appeared to be as high as a kite - incoherent & pupils as wide as saucers. He drove the entire journey between 20 and 30km/hr, at times coming to a complete stop to go around bends. The experience was infuriating and, needless to say, a little hairy knowing that our driver was in no state to drive. We didn't get his ID no. coz when we eventually got to the restaurant, we rushed in nearly 45 minutes late. This is the last time we will be using Rikkis. Extremely disappointed and outraged.
