The front counter staff were obviously training someone on his first shift cause there was a distinct feeling that nobody knew exactly what they were doing. But the customer service was ok so no complaints there! But.....that is where it ends! The food, considering all they make are hotdogs was atrociously bad! I asked for a cheesy Russian. They didn't have any cheesy Russians so one of the counter people pointed at the different sausages out on the rollers. I have no idea what they were saying but I said "ok, I'll have just a plain Russian". I'm not sure what I got cause whatever it is they gave me had a spice to it. I don't remember Russians being hot but maybe they have changed. However, the quality of the sausage was awful. It was dry and like eating a piece of cardboard! The hot dog bun is the cheapest bun you can get and the tomatoe sauce and mayonnaise is the stuff from wimpey - cheap tomato sauce - not All Gold. For this delightful bit of something that cannot be consumed with anything other than utter disgust - it left me R39 lighter in the pocket. My local Spar makes better hot dogs than sausage saloon and they charge R4!
