Only half decent private hospital in Witbank. Noisy and staff are uninformative and loud. Most specialities are available as well as radiology etc.

Have had less than pleasnt visits to Cosmos Life but the last visit was the last straw.
Ghe communication between different departments is appauking. The radioogy, to the nurses to the doctors. You as the patient needs to ask and pass on the information else they dont know what is going on.
The saving grace is lancet blood test - the lady who took my bloods on 3 occasions - Jaques is her name. Polite to the point reassuring and absolutely painless - and I have a phobia for needles.especialky since she took bloods after nurse piked me over and over to decide where to place drip and after she had it in realised it was wrong size and had to do it again. It was beyond painful.
On discharge the nurses dont know if you have medication or should have medication. They remive a drip with antibiotics and dont even think about whether the course of the medication has been completed. They don't communicate with you and say "go and ask your doctor" which maybe is the best route because when they do speak to the doctor they totally misrepresent your request.
The public hospital in Witbank is better. Else just drive to Johannesburg or Pretoria for better hospitals
