A great menu and fantastic food. Quite a busy place in Hermanus, so making a reservation would be preferable. Excellent customer service. The owner is present and chats with the customers. A lovely experience overall.

Food was awesome... took us a while to decide between all the dishes and each plate of food presented looked more tasty than the one before. It is a must when visting Hermanus..... and the view from the restaurant is not too bad either.

The food was great. Really enjoyed the deserts. The furniture and fittings need a bit of TLC considering the price bracket. All in all had an enjoyable evening.

Fresh seafood. Delicious mussel starter, good attentive waitress. Beautiful views of the ocean. Only problem was that the light hake meal was bland and under seasoned.

I was out to enjoy great food after a long day on a motorcycle and La Pentola delivered in spectacular fashion. Our party of four was greeted warmly at the door and our waitress efficiently delivered drinks and wine. All the selections were described with detail by our server. I had the Abalone which I can say was the most tender I've ever tasted. All the servings were plated beautifully and presented together. The clean interior design and view added to one of the best dining experiences I've encountered worldwide.
