I bought a beautiful Joshua Miles painting here at New Year. The gallery offered to send it to the UK instead of me taking it on the plane. I questioned their intention of sending it normal parcel post but they blithely assured me that's what they always did. When it arrived a few weeks later the frame was completely trashed because they had only wrapped it in a single layer of bubble wrap and then put it in a bubble wrap envelope. Thank goodness the painting is unharmed. All my attempts to get them to pay for reframing in an equivalent frame have received vague responses about the insurance company or power
failures (not sure why this would make it difficult to refund me!) or, in the case of my last email a week ago, no response at all. I have experienced terrible customer service and would not recommend anyone to buy or certainly to ship from this gallery. A shame, as some lovely pieces.

Jozua - I just wanted to say thank you for intervening so quickly and sorting out this issue. Clearly communication had not got through to you and I appreciate your immediate and very satisfactory response once it did!
