This place needs a lot of upgrading, the furniture as well as showers and bedrooms are in a very bad condition, even the food is not up to standard

This historic old hotel is unfortunately now a low budget, make-do place in a somewhat run-down neighbourhood. Much of furniture and trimmings are in need of replacement.
The breakfast is in a nice room, but features instant coffee, long life milk and store-bought sliced bread. It really doesn't seem worth the price.
Despite most of the staff try to be attentive. Most things work or can be negotiated about.
