The IMAX cinema is amazing, quick service, friendly staff. Overall good experience

Went and watched a movie with family, while we were watching, someone (probably a staff member as they succeeded in exiting and resetting the emergency door with out setting off any alarms) snuck up behind us took a handbag from under our chairs, they took an iPad, iPhone and the purse from the bag then placed the bag back beneath the seat. We were the only people watching the movie in that Cinema. No one was around when we went to look for some assistance. I think this is an extremely poor show, it would indicate that the Movie House is vulnerable and is not safe for general public, things like the emergency door should not be able to open without triggering some sort of alarm resulting in someone coming to investigate. After reading the Ster Kinekor t&c, it would appear that the company does not have an issue with customers being unable to place their belongings safely underneath their seats, as they claim that they cannot be held liable. So with that said, it is highly recommended that this cinema does not get used unless you plan on holding you bags on your lap the entire movie.

Systems for booking and collecting tickets is very inefficient and slow. No manual counters for people that aren't tech-savvy or have visual problems. Staff are scarce. Lack of signage. The IMAX is really good once you fight your way through the epic flop of the ticket machines. Good idea to automate the systems but poorly done. The amount of money saved in hiring less employees will catch up in the long run due to customer dissatisfaction.
