Disgusted. My 88 year old father's solar geyser burst on Sunday. I called INDWE RISK on Monday. Indwe sent a contractor who arrived Monday afternoon and assured installation on Tuesday. We waited. At ±14h00 an entirely different contractor arrived to 'check' the geyser!! I was not told that the previous contractor had been discarded. The new cortactor also wanted me to pay a R500 excess BEFORE he would install the geyser. My father is a pensioner and he does not pay excess on his geyser. Even more weird. What happened to the previous contractor? No communication AT ALL with us. I then embarked on a marathon phone search for clarity. Nothing is personal - tho' the reps were polite and knew their business they were always different There was no' person I could speak to who would give me their number so that I did not have to retell my story every time. Details get lost. Tempers fray. This is NOT an effective way of handling clients. It is infuriating. No -one seems to be aware of anything anyone else is doing! This is NOT customer service. This is torture. Later after talking to various representatives of Indwe yet ANOTHER plumbing contractor pitches up at my father's house. But no. It appears that his company does not install solar geysers! I have been unable to gat any joy since 16:30. I DO NOT want to call INDWE's generic line. In fact I want a paper trail. I want emails. Not recordings that I cannot reference! I want a REAL dialogue and a return contact number to the SAME person! What is a customer supposed to do? No water. No service. Damaged ceilings and carpets and furniture. INDWE this is ridiculous!!
