Farm atmosphere. Lovely swimming pools. Big trees and lawn. Good outdoor fun for kids.

Definitely not a good experience. Christian camp, my foot. Greeting at the gate, was an old guy standing in a cage armed with a gun. The security guy, cum lifesaver, searching for alcohol, had an unfriendly attitude.
The facilities are also in need of some serious maintenance. The braai facilities needs serious attention. It doesn't seem that anything that breaks is ever fixed. We were still having fellowship when one of the cleaners came to remove the black bag which we brought along, without saying a word and the bag was not even full.
The toilets are not very hygienic and again maintenance are seriously neglected. This place is well supported by churches, but it is obvious that the owners are not interested in investing in this place. As long as the dollars roll in. We need to keep these owners in prayer so that they can at least start displaying Christian characteristics and care more about the people who are supporting them. Either way, I do not think I am interested in paying another visit to this place or maybe I should to see if there are any improvements in attitudes or facilities:-(

Not a good experience at all. Very unfriendly staff, very hostile especially the old man. Not sure if he's the owner, but when we arrived at the entrance he did not even greet and was not joyful at all. For a Christian institution on me would expect a joyful feeling, but terrible and very unfriendly. And the old man is walking around with a gun on his hip, which is very inappropriate for a place that has kids running around.
Then the facilities are terrible especially considering you pay about R200 for a small family. Swings are broken or missing. See-saw rusted and broken. Toilets are in serious need of maintenance. Definitely not worth what you paying to get in.
I also did not like the way the searched the car to check for alcohol. In the U.S. they had a rule, where they couldn't touch your posessions, so you needed to open your own bag and they asked you to move things around as need be. But at Farmyard they put their dirty hands in between your Belongings, which I didn't like at all 😱.
So overall a terrible experience.

Exxellent place to relaxe for the day. Exellent security to keep the trouble makers out.
