Unfortunately I'm writing a poor review of Parktown Stores regarding there accounts department. I received a statement of an item I purchased more than a year ago. This account was settled to my knowledge a year ago. I have received no statement and no sms regarding this account until yesterday. They asked me to show proof of payment to the account for this item. My problem is not that I need to show proof or even pay if payment didn't go through but when I told the gentlemen I will hold him responsible for any bank charges as my bank informed me the statements going back a year I could be charged for, the man laughed at me. He kept on laughing as I called him out for it. So that is how they treat a customer, and also the fact that I first received the one and only statement a year later. I do not accept that they blame the post office that I didn't receive anything for a year.
