Nice for the memories but a bit too smokey at night. They have food you could order... Perfect place for some late night foosball :) A place for the arty maybe more trancy crowd. Still fun at the right time.

Service good. Always cozy atmosphere, making everybody feeling welcome but tonight the fire was poor and this on an extremely cold evening. We had to request twice for fire to be revitalized. We left earlier than planned despite the good starter that was served by a friendly waiter. We would have stayed till the cows come home if it was not for the fire. People should understand that customers want to feel comfortable when they are going out these days when it's not cheap to go out. Fortunately there always alternatives in a place like Stellenbosch. But we'll be back. It still remains one of the few places where everybody is welcome
