The guy at our hotel recommended it. Not sure why. I mean, it was good, really good, but it was priced like an American restaurant, which means it’s way overpriced here for what they serve. I have to dock stars for the menu prices, they’re just too much.

Service was nice and friendly, but quality of the food was well below average for Stellenbosch and surroundings. Management was not able to find a suitable solution for the kitchen deficits.

What would Stellenbosch be without Wijnhuis. Best Aperol ever! Thank you Frank and Innocent. You are the best hosts/cocktail makers ever! And I believe Wijnhuis makes the best burgers in town. So if you like your Friday nights under African sky with a tinge of cool Continental ....
Oh yes, and then there's Paolo's DJ music.
