Best Pulpo in town I would say, yes the menue is only in Spanish but if you are able to order “Racion de pulpo gallego” you Land straight in culinary heaven - I world skip the rest but this is what the Pulperia is famous for

Had a very nice lunch with friends, 6 of us including 2 small children. The food was very pleasant and the beer nice - restaurant was packed as was the national holiday but staff coped well - if a little grumpily :)

I read the reviews about this place and they seemed good so I decided to try it out. I have never written a review for a restaurant or had any urge to until going to this place. This was one of the most frustrating dining experiences I have ever had. I am from Toronto and don't speak Spanish very well. The food may have been good at this place but the service was terrible. The staff was extremely rude and barely gave us any attention. Our food was all cold, dry, and seemed old. When we looked at tables around us the food seemed much different, so I can at least understand where some of the good reviews may have come from. I felt that we were taken advantage of and looked down upon due to our inability to speak fluent Spanish. I left this place is anger feeling cheated out of money and time. This experience made me want to share my review which is something I have never done before. I would highly discourage going to this place.

Made a quick stop here for tapas. The few seafood dishes we ordered were great. Simple fares, but the ingredients were very fresh, everything tastes great.
The price is fair. Highly recommend this place.
