I was very disappointed that the rooftop closed for three days of our five only by a sign in the elevator. I liked the rooftop the most.
Very dark elevator. Otherwise i liked the hotel for the atmosphere and all nice people

Returning guest to the Axel Barcelona. I fell like home away from home at the Axel Barcelona. Definitely recommend to anybody who is looking for a nice vacation. One of the best locations in town. Prices are also very reasonable. Great spa and a nice gym are also available.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about Barcelona sites and nightlife. The rooftop pool was awesome and a nice place to start the night off when it converts into a bar in the evenings. The rooms were quiet and although it is in an old building, the decor is classic yet modern. It was a most comfortable stay and we can't wait to visit again!

Excellent hotel with friendly helpful professional staff.
Very nice to be able to relax on the rooftop bar, and the atmosphere was nice.
The only thing missing that I would have liked, is coffee/tea making facilities in the room or a hot drinks machine in the hotel.
