Overall I would recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, the resort is nice. The hotel itself is a wee bit dated but nice and clean and the food is good. Entertainment leaves a bit to be desired but generally we had a good holiday.

Unconfortable bed, creepy room, huge parking with a lot of places but you gotta pay for it, no towels for the pool or beach, nasty breakfast that will cost you extra... i am traveling around europe and tgis has been the worst experience so far

Just got back hotel was clean food ok but much the same no entertainment for English people no music round the pool very boring on the plus side we met some lovely people from South and North England don't think i would go back.

My sister and I have just returned from a fabulous holiday at the Caleta Palace. Our room was a twin and was spacious with great wardrobe space. The bathroom was huge and spotlessly clean. The views from our room 443 was amazing.
All the staff were helpful and were very atentive.
The hotel is located on the beach and is in walking distance to fantastic high quality shops and cafes.
The resturant has a great veriety of foods salads seafood and deserts. Mostly Spanish and French dishes. I loved the seafood.
This hotel is suited for a relaxing holiday. There are great boat trips from Playa Grand to Tossa De Marr a fabulous day out.
I would reccomend that the hotel puts kettles and tea and coffee facilities in the rooms
Also orginised excursions to Barcelona and Gerona bookable from the reception. As we found this difficult to do ourselves. Also it would be beneficial to have a map of Playa de Aro for directions to the bus station and surrounding attractions. I would reccomend taking books or magazines as the shops only supply Spanish French German ect. An idea would be to have a book shelf with books to read then leave for other holliday makers in the foyer of the hotel. You can pick up a British Mail newspaper. We loved our holliday so much we have booked to return for 11 nights from the 14th May. We cannot wait to return. Hopefully we can have room 443 again as it was the perfect room for us.

VERY dirty rooms. they probably never heard the word cleanliness. old broken furniture and doors, holes in the ceiling, mold in the bathroom. bad food and horrible drinking water at the bar and restaurant. barely any fun activities provided. when we asked the receptionist about the dirtiness they acted like they didn't speak English but apparently the next day the same person was able to help us with a parking question with perfect English. Only plus points the location and the patio.
