We rented a car here for three days after a very disappointing mail from *insert big rental company* that our reserved car isn't available anymore and a really unreasonable alternative.
So we requested a car at Tirma after we saw their advertising in our hotel and everything went great. The car was ready to go when we got there, the car was in perfect shape and the paper work was done quickly. The car itself was a Fiat Panda, perfect for two people to explore the island, little gas consumption, easy to park in Las Palmas' crazy traffic. Because of said traffic we brought the car back the evening before it was due and it was no problem.
In the end it was a lucky coincidence for us because it was a lot cheaper than the previously booked car and Tirma was also closer to our hotel. I would absolutely recommend renting a car here and would do it again everytime!

I used this company once and never more. The plan was to pick-up the car in Las Palmas and leave it at the airport as we leave the island. I sent the request but never got confirmation, so I called to make sure and I was told that everything was ready and ok. As we got to the office I was told that I had to bring the car back to Las Palmas instead of leaving it at the airport, which ruined our entire plan for the day. But we didn't want to waste time and search for another company so we took the car. Online I had requested a Fiat Panda but we got a Citroen and it wasn't ready when we arrived despite phoning before hand that morning and being told the car was ready for us. We had to wait while the car was being vacuumed and cleaned. When we finally got it, I looked at the fuel amount and it had quarter of a tank in it, despite their web page guaranteeing a FULL tank of petrol when you pick up the car. Although going to the gas station doesn’t exactly take that much time, that’s not the point, the first thing we had to do was find a gas station and top up the car before we could begin our already delayed trip. Having never driven this type of car before (as it was not the car I requested) it was quite difficult for me to know how much I would have to put in the tank in order to return the car with only a quarter of a tank. It would have been much easier to return the car with a full tank, if only they had given me a full tank in the first place. The member of staff I spoke to on the phone and the member of staff I dealt with at the office was rude and unfriendly and not helpful at all. Overall, I had a very negative experience using this company. It’s a shame, I initially chose this company as I wanted to support a smaller local business rather than choosing one of the big well-known companies, but I learned my lesson! I wouldn’t advise using them!
