Ok convention centre built on a budget as most things are in Spain due to a weak economy. Catering and facilities inside the building are difficult to find, and there is not enough service staff for larger events.
Outdated IT for presentations require you to bring your own equipment whichnis why we will switch to Barcelona where there is better infrastructure.
The open fields (Recinto Ferial) to the west are used for the summer festival called Feria, and there are horse shows.
Unfortunately horse manure is everywhere on the streets and pavement during these 2 weeks in August. Very unhygienic.

Although gorgeous to look at, the convention center was not really functional, operationally speaking - and was under staffed.
I attended for a company event. There were not enough coffee stations to accommodate the crowd at the break. Lunch offered similar queues and was mediocre. An evening event had its own issues, with long line ups at the coat check. All in all, an average experience.

Here they often have nice events, car shows, congresses and mer.Stora and spacious rooms suitable for many purposes, large parking lot outside.
