Nice amd clean resort. During my stay in early November it was fairly quiet but I guess in high season it can be very busy so not sure how well they cope with the crowds. Rooms were fine but this open plan bathroom idea might cause some issue to people. Still don't get the point of this design. Cleaning ladies tend to chat out loud in the early morning hours (8:00am) outside the rooms which is definitely annoying. However they do serve a good and rich variety of breakfast. All areas are clean and pool outdoor space very pretty. Location wise there is a bus stop just outside the hotel with buses going to Palna or a 15 minutes drive to Palma. They do have private parking but charge extra 10 euro per day. Overall a good place to stay and relax for a few days.

Well situated hotel for our purpose. Ocean, swimming pool and gym are close. Good opportunities for cycling and bus stop and connection to Palma is next to the hotel.

As soon as we arrived, we were treated with VIP service! The staff directed us to the lobby lounge as we waited for our room to be ready and welcomed us with two glasses of champagne. We sat by the window which overlooked the beautiful blue sea and pool area. It was unreal! The hotel staff was very friendly – the manager personally greeted us and introduced himself as we checked-in. Our room was ready fairly quickly so we were able to drop our bags and head down to the pool. Overall, the hotel is maintained nicely and very clean. The room we booked had a balcony with the sea/pool view and was spacious. As you walk into the room the shower and toilet are in the same area but each were separated by its own door. I liked being able to close off the door between the entire bathroom and bedroom at night. The restaurant near the pool is excellent! The food is super fresh, delicious and filling – we had the salmon which came with two sides to choose from. The pool was busy but there were a lot of beach chairs so we never had an issue finding a spot. There is a staircase that leads down to a small private cove/beach area which is beautiful. In addition to the pool restaurant there is a dining area for breakfast and dinner. We purchased the breakfast option which was buffet style with a lot of options to choose from. We didn’t initially purchase the dinner option but did decide to go there one night and personally did not love it and found it to be expensive. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, I would recommend renting a bicycle to explore the city. The only negative feedback I have is we continued to have issues with our hotel key card and had to replace it a few times. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Riu Palace and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful location on the beach. Excellent service, the staff really make you feel welcome with friendly attitudes and very sweet gestures. The buffet is great and the restaurant is lovely over looking the sea. Overall Hotel bonanza palace has a lovely holiday atmosphere, would love to come back again!

Amazing hotel! Quiet, air-conditioned, comfortable and clean. No drunk party people. The staff is extra friendly, smiling and greeting you all day long. Big buffet breakfast and delicious BBQ for lunch by the pool. Private beach access, clean pools, plenty of sunbeds. Everyone was just so pleasant to us! We decided to skip dinners and evening entertainment at the hotel and dine out. Very safe place, lovely beaches around Illetas, excellent weather, we had a wonderful time. We'd love to go back!
