Horrible experience. I am not too picky when it comes to hotels, for me it's about location, location, location! Nevertheless, I must say that this one pushed my patience to the limit, but let's start...
Great staff, perfect location and good hard mattress those are the positives that must me retained.
My first bad experience was with the room service because it's brought to you without a covering dome, which made me thing that it had been exposed to basically everything on the way to my room from people sneezing in the elevator, hairs etc.
As I started eating it seems that the pasta had pieces of spaghetti from a previous cooked dinner which led me to believe that the pasta is cooked in the same cooking water as previous dinners and thus I got the cooking left-overs from someone else.
Went to bed to find my linings had human hair (obviously from someone else) still on them...
Now, despite all that, the worst was yet to come.
I was unable to sleep AT ALL the whole night. It seems that it's impossible to switch off the air conditioning and it's noisier than the ones I had back in 1980. Out of utter desperation at 4am I actually took the room card out to see if without electricity it would stop but that didn't work. If that wasn't enough, the ceiling has a smoke detector with 2 blinking LED lights that simply WILL NOT STOP BLINKING and in complete darkness and eyes shut it is like being in a disco...
Again, unable to sleep, I walked around the room only to see that I had another guest in my room... A huge cockroach that decided to share with me my sleepless night.
That's it for me, not coming back to this hotel and tomorrow I'll definitely talk to the manager.
P.S.- This is in no way a critic intended to hurt the hotel, it's a review to allow the opportunity to improve. And for those having doubts, I work in insurance and was here on work, so I have no hidden interest in giving a bad review... My motivation to write is simply because it's now 5am and I can't sleep.

Nice room, in a quiet position third floor window opening to the city centre, I need no light coming from outside and that's it, perfect night we have had.

Nice clean rooms with air conditioning, very good hard mattresses and two different pillows. Welcoming staff and extra plus for water and fruit in the lobby. Only drawback is occasional noise from the streets, but not a problem. Did not try the breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location to walk to a lot of good historic sights. The hotel is nice and the food is good. Laundry service is expensive so bring plenty of changes of clothes
