The menu prices are on the high-end of the scale in comparison to the others restaurants in the area; unfortunately, we all left there feeling the quality did not meet the asking price.
Staff was responsive, atmosphere was nice, but the food and the preparation of it was mediocre.
Sent back the kingfish sashimi (we were assured it was fresh, but the fish was a bit slimy and both tasted and texturally felt like it was going bad). We've had enough sashimi to know this wasn't stored or prepped properly.
Duck spring rolls were not bad, a bit on the dry side. Pulled pork was okay, but the oil used to cook the french fries tasted old and in need of replacement. Lamb cooked in the tagine was decent, lacking flavor but not bad.
Overall, I wrote a long review because out of our 10 days in Sri Lanka, this dining experience was both the most expensive meal and collectively our least favorite.

The new Fine dining experience inside the Dutch fort. There is both style and gourmet values in the food. This would be the perfect restaurant to host dinner dates, honeymoon dinners or if just want to impress your partner.

Had an overpriced ceasar salad, where there anchovy taste were overpowering and the parmesan non existant. The chicken was grilled charry and bone dry. So basically it tasted like iceberg salad, fishsauce and burnt chicken. Not nice at all. Would not go again.
