One of the best restaurants I've been to!
The service was fantastic - as the meal is being served, the waiter explained what is what and where it comes from.
There is only one menu, from which one could choose from, and is paired with the matching wine. Food is sourced locally and best - it is all seasonal.
The meal was presented in a very original way and tasted heavenly good!

Best Food we had in 4 Days in Stockholm.
The concept was very interesting. There was only one menu and everyone begins at the same time. All courses were named after a Swedish town, where one of the ingredients comes from. our menu had 5 starters, 1 main course and 2 desserts.
The food was amazing. It felt like a journey. The taste kept changing, while you were eating. the same bite can start fruity and sour and end with even a little spicy in your mouth, We enjoyed every bite. It was full of surprises.
The service was outstanding. There were two waiters and every time they bring a new dish, they tell you everything about the food.
We spent 2000 that night for 2 people. It sure is expensive. But it was worth it. Smörgåstårteriet is better than lots of Michelin restaurants I've been to, although they don't even have a star!!!!

Good quality, high price.
Dinner for two on Sep 21st: fixed menu, based on creative fusion of seafood, fish, mushrooms, and meet. Concluding with celery sorbet. Wine not as good as food. 1650 Sek.

This was an excellent experience. The food is exciting, with fantastic flavours and textures right from the get go. The dishes are based on beautiful local, in season fresh ingredients, like spring lamb and white asparagus.
A slow cooked brisket with a combo of earthy flavours like foie gras, tapioca and root vegetables is the star of the menu arrangement and the clear winner for the evening. Even though there is plenty competition however from every single dish. To complete the experience, the wine pairing and service are perfectly on par. Worth every penny for a remarkable night. Bravo!
