A lovely venue with great service, but the food was underwhelming. The menu is limited so I expected what little there was to taste great. The prawn starter was lovely and left me expecting great things from the main chicken dish (chosen as it is halal)... but it proved to be extremely disappointing. The chicken dish came with dhall and a chapati with way too much raitha all on the plate. It just tasted bland and looked like it was taken from a big vat of already prepared food. It almost looked as if it was something off the frozen shelf in Tesco - the flavours were just about there but they didn't punch through at all. Perhaps I'm judging harshly as I'm used to what we get in the UK but, for the price, it was not what I expected.

Great food, nice atmosphere, the owner and staff are very friendly. The only thing that holds me back from going a lot is the quite high price.
