SEE YOUR MONEY GO AWAY!! We rented a Volvo XC90 which is a lot of money but add in all the problems and extra shady charges then it becomes buku cash. We had to leave a $4000 deposit which is fine, it's an expensive car and we will get that money back, but as we were checking to make sure of all the previous scratches and damage, the sales woman forgot to run through the entire list, forgetting to check the trunk cover. There's was not one present when we drove away. When we took the car back, they accused us of the missing trunk cover. While we were dealing with this, an hour went by and they ended up charging an extra day because it has now gone over the 24 hour period so we were charged another $245. Once we got back to the states, a U.S. Hertz refunded the cost but then I received a letter in the mail regarding another $50 fee in which the invoice was so vague, I cannot make out what this is regarding...maybe it's my fault. I doubt it. Gas filled to the top, car taken care of, no scratches, nothing...ridiculous place. Reading below I believe it was an "administration fee." Ok, sure, whatever. No need to go back.

Easy and fast interaction at the counter. They have very limited space for running vehicles outside working hours though

WATCH OUT! I am not the type of person who likes to write negative reviews, but anyone considering renting from this office should be warned. I ended up with a very surprising CHF 415 charge for a 36-hour rental (with no damage or unreasonable use). After several months of going back and forth with Hertz, they have refused to make this right.
I have rented countless vehicles from rental agencies across the United States and Europe and I have never had any problems, until my nightmarish experience with this Hertz. My husband and I rented a vehicle for about 36 hours. The total rental charge was approx. CHF 165, and we were told that a hold would be placed on our credit card for approx. CHF 320. We returned the vehicle on time with a full tank of gas. Much to our surprise, we discovered on our credit card bill that we had been charged approx. CHF 415. After submitting several requests for information from Hertz, and after being ignored and receiving incomplete bits of information, I was finally informed that, without any notice or warning, Hertz unilaterally decided to charge to our credit card a "cleaning fee" of CHF 150 plus an "administrative fee" of CHF 90. After several more requests for information, and being ignored a few more times, I finally received the photos attached to this review as Hertz's support for this ridiculous CHF 240 charge.
I have submitted multiple requests for information concerning how these photos can possibly justify an additional charge of CHF 240 (and a total charge of CHF 415 for a 36-hour rental), and I have only received a canned, scripted answer that does not provide any meaningful explanation. Hertz has still not even confirmed that they actually needed to spend extra time cleaning the vehicle, over the time that they routinely spend cleaning any vehicle before renting it to the next customer.
The bottom line is - be careful if you decide to hand over your credit card to these people. It seems they see it as a blank check.

Good place for me to rent a car! But significant waiting time. Be very careful when bringing back car outside office hours. No place at 10 PM and they did not explain that the car could be left in the parking space of the bank reserved parking spaces next to Herzt. Result is that I got a park fee of 40 CHF. They are dealing with it but let's see.
