Big rooms. Stone bathtubs.Reasonably priced. The hotel is a bit old and it has a smell like smoking used to be common but doesn't seem to be common anymore. Close to Songshan airport, an old arboretum, and an art street with international foods and crafts.

Its a convenient and calm place to settle down. The amenities are good. Convenient stores and metro is nearby. Also the major locations of Taipei are easily reachable from here .

I've stayed at Taipei Lotty Hotel a few times since I been visiting Taipei in the past few years. The rooms are very large. The bed is very comfortable. I think the bed got larger on my recent stay there in April 2015. The rooms are also very clean.
I'm particularly fond of their service. The front desk staff are very attentive and good at directing me where I need to go. This hotel also serve Taiwanese breakfast. Everyone at their hotel is very friendly.
I also like staying here because it's near a MRT station. There are a lot of restaurants, shops, and museums nearby. If you don't like dealing with massive crowds at some of the popular night-markets in Taipei, there is one nearby Taipei Lotty Hotel that has some of the most amazing local foods. It's a short 5 minute walk from the hotel.
I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei.
