Have heard a lot of this place before going, which only made my disappointment worse. I was there during Halloween eve and the atmosphere was quite sad. This is an American style pub serving very average food and drinks. There's live jazz music which is nice but apart from that it's not worth the hype. Some much nicer bars are just around the corner...

God damm! It is an institution and I feel like throw-back in time (70's) and it was back to New Orleans jazz hangout. Cool drink, awesome people, the music and man, you can't ask for more in life, when you settle in. If you go to Bangkok, it is the first stop you got to go, it is amazing! Of course, it runs 3 gigs a night and the best, trust me, is always the 12 midnight to 2 pm session, if you can stay alert!! You should go earlier, if you are going on Friday and Saturday.

Fantastic Thai food, served quickly. Western food is also available, and looked good on my neighbour's plate. Great variety of drinks, too.
Lovely live music, one man and a guitar doing great covers from the '60s through to the 2000s. Two more bands followed him ...

We had a great time at Saxophone! Really fun, cozy space. The band was fantastic! The Drinks were decent, had a good German beer on tap at the time in addition to the usual choices. The one appetizer we got for a snack wasn't that great, but we didn't go there for dinner. We'll definitely go back for the entertainment.
