The view is beautiful and worth the $20 price of a drink. We were dressed nicely and never rushed to leave. Don't wear jeans or a $5 dress and you won't be run off!

Loved it!!! It's beautiful up there and the food is the best I've ever had in Thailand. The view is breathtaking and the staff is very nice and polite. I had an awesome night, up in the sky bar.

I'll start off by saying the view is a beautiful experience! Great panoramic views of Bangkok. With that being said, that's all this place had to offer. The moment you walk in, the cocktail waitress is putting menus in your face to order drinks. They make you go to the 1st bar and you're not allowed to walk around or take any pictures until after you order. In addition, while you and your group are deciding on what to order they are hovering over your back and won't move until you order. After you pay for your drink you are allowed to walk around. While taking pictures you are not allowed to take any by the stairs or the water fountain. You are not allowed to use a selfie stick in the Sky Bar area. My best suggestion is to keep ALL receipts! I was charged at the Bar 812 baht and told to sign the receipt and put our room number. We paid cash so we didn't keep the receipt. Upon check out, they also charged my room and would not remove it. I didn't keep the receipt when we paid at the Bar, so I had to pay again. 1624 baht for 1 beer is just crazy. The was the only amazing thing there.

This bar is pretty cool. There are few different sections to it but find the one near the restaurant. It's really high, intact 64 floors and the view is worth it. Drinks aren't cheap, around 750 THB but you're going for the experience, not to drink a lot. Take it for what it is. Worth a visit. Be sure you dress up and men have to wear closed in shoes.

90% of the crowd is tourists. Drinks are unbelievably expensive ($20, yes, US dollars!). Food is also extremely pricey and terrible, you're paying for the view, which is already free. Both these reasons are why most locals never come here.
When you walk out of the elevator, you're ushered to another open air bar on the right. Most people go here without realizing there's a whole other area to the left, that is much bigger, better and what Sky Bar is famous for.
I've still given this 4 stars because of the really cool overhanging bar and the undoubtedly fantastic view.
